Peaceable Kingdom Animal Rescue is the Northeast's "Equal Opportunity Rescue. We take dogs and and cats of all breeds and ages. We take seniors, three legged dogs, one eyed cats, and everything in between. When other rescues take puppies and leave the mom's behind, who goes to save them? Peaceable Kingdom still has several adult dogs for adoption. They are
spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, up to date on shots, and ready for new homes.
PEACEABLE KINGDOM HAS NO FACILITY IN GRANVILLE, WE HAVE SOME FOSTER HOMES, AND A FACILITY IN DUTCHESS COUNTY UNDER COSTRUCTION. APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE TO SEE PETS EITHER AT THEIR FOSTER HOME OR IN DUTCHESS COUNTY. IF YOU CALL OR EMAIL DON"T EXPECT A RESPONSE FOR 24-48 HOURS. WE ARE ONLY VOLUNTEERS WITH FAMILIES AND JOBS. WE ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO GIVE EMERGENCY CARE.

Who We Are
Peaceable Kingdom Animal Rescueis a no kill 501c3 organization. We take in stray and unwanted animals. It is our belief that all life is is equally important, not just humans. We believe it is time for human beings to take responsibility for the animals we tamed, overbred, and abandoned. We help animals of all types and ages. Please check out our seniors. This rescue relies on volunteers, donations, and foster homes to run. Please contact us if you can Foster or volunteer.
Who We Are Not
We are not law enforcement. If you suspect animal abuse you must report it to your local Animal Control Officer or SPCA. We can not solve the local pet overpopulation. We are not made of money and resources. We cannot possably take in every animal we are asked to take! We are volunteers trying to save lives. If you want to help, start by spaying and neutering your own pets!
Adopting a friend
All adopters must be over 21 years of age and own their own home. People with excellent references who rent may sometimes adopt. We require references, and we insist on a home visit. On occasion we do adopt out pets out of area and send a friend from another rescue to do the home check. All adult animals who leave this rescue are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. PLEASE DO NOT SEND EMAILS OR CALL UNLESS YOUR SERIOUS ABOUT ADOPTING.

Abandoning animals any place is illegal. If you have an animal who needs to be placed we may be able to help, but you must call ahead. We may refer you someplace else.
This rescue is run by volunteers who have jobs and families. We will do our best to serve you quickly. Also, be aware, you must call and make an appointment as most of the animals are in foster homes. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN NOW MAKE A TAX DEDUCTABLE DONATION TO THE RESUE THROUGH THE MAKE A DONATION PAYPAL LINK BELOW. YOUR DONATION HELPS US PROVIDE FOOD, SHELTER AND MEDICAL CARE TO MANY ANIMALS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE GO WITHOUT.........
